Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions

Hi everyone, Who watched the Diamond Resort Tournament of Champions on the LPGA Tour?! The LPGA Tour players played extremely well and it was so much fun to watch! Let's start with Danielle Kang, she had such a great week and is overall such a well rounded player. The Korda sisters are both so incredible as well and have such a talent for the game. I was on the edge of the couch all afternoon watching them down the stretch. Nelly had such a phenomenal round and came back from where she started the round to finish where she did. Danielle played so well this week and it was incredible to watch her consistency this week and her drive, especially when it came to making that final putt on 18 to end up in the playoff. Jessica after a historic round of 60 on Saturday came to fight on Sunday getting herself into a playoff with Danielle come 18 on Sunday. They both hit great tee shots on the first playoff hole and Jessica walked up and rolled in her phenomenal birdie putt putting the pressu
Hi everyone, This week the LPGA Tour gets back at it at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions in Florida! This is a unique event on the LPGA Tour because it consists of the winners of all LPGA Tour events in the last two seasons as well as a field of celebrities competing in a modified stableford format. I am super excited to watch this event not only to see the LPGA Tour stars of today tee it up but also to watch my hero Annika Sorenstam play in the celebrity portion! You can bet I will be watching this event come Thursday-Sunday. The PGA Tour is also teeing it up this week at the Desert Classic in California. The field for this weeks event is definitely one to watch! How is school going for everyone? For those of us in high school if anyone is having midterms this year, good luck!!  ~NH Golfer Gal
Hi everyone, How are you all doing?  LPGA Tour commissioner Mike Whan is stepping down from his role at the LPGA Tour. Mike did great things for the organization and for women's golf! While women's golf is not nearly as large, diverse, or equal as it can and will be someday it has come a long way in the time that Mike was with the LPGA Tour. Thank you, Mike! Side note to whoever takes Mike's place we would love to see an LPGA Tour event in New England somewhere!  Congratulations to everyone playing at the Sentry Tournament of Champions for the PGA Tour and to Harris English on coming away with the win! Loved watching live golf and looking forward to it continuing. I hope everyone has a great week! ~NH Golfer Gal
Hi everyone, I hope everyone had a good holiday break. Happy New Year! What are some of your goals for 2021? Golf specific?  I am already counting down the days until the weather changes and golf courses can open up here in NH again. I can't wait to get out and play again! Looking ahead at my upcoming tournament season I am excited to be adding some new events to my calendar and hopefully meeting some new people. The 2020 season was certainly different but I met and became friendlier with so many people through the game. Between playing more NHGA events, the NHWGA State Amateur, High School, and more. I am so grateful to have met them all and they are all amazing people! I am looking forward to seeing everyone again soon and getting out to play.  Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2021 full of lots of birdies and fun rounds! ~NH Golfer Gal
