Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions

Who watched the Diamond Resort Tournament of Champions on the LPGA Tour?!

The LPGA Tour players played extremely well and it was so much fun to watch! Let's start with Danielle Kang, she had such a great week and is overall such a well rounded player. The Korda sisters are both so incredible as well and have such a talent for the game. I was on the edge of the couch all afternoon watching them down the stretch. Nelly had such a phenomenal round and came back from where she started the round to finish where she did. Danielle played so well this week and it was incredible to watch her consistency this week and her drive, especially when it came to making that final putt on 18 to end up in the playoff. Jessica after a historic round of 60 on Saturday came to fight on Sunday getting herself into a playoff with Danielle come 18 on Sunday. They both hit great tee shots on the first playoff hole and Jessica walked up and rolled in her phenomenal birdie putt putting the pressure on DK to make hers. In the end Jessica came out with her sixth LPGA Tour victory! Great playing to everyone and congrats to Jessica Korda!

The celebrity division was also a lot of fun to watch! Mardy Fish played so well and walked away with it on Sunday. Aaron Hicks had such an incredible week and hits the ball so far. On Saturday he went over the water on the dogleg par four cutting the corner and ending up just left of the green! Another highlight of the week for me was watching Annika Sorenstam tee it up! Annika had four great rounds and ended up finishing in 9th place in the celebrity division. She is such a machine rolling in long putts, accurate drives and approach shots, and her effortless chips when she occasionally misses a green. Great playing to everyone and congrats to Mardy Fish on the win!

Also, congrats to Si Woo Kim on the win at the American Express on the PGA Tour! There was some great playing over there too.

I have been really busy, with school starting and golf! The U.S. Kids Tour! The U.S. Kids Tour is a great way to introduce kids to tournament play! The U.S. Kids Tour plays good courses for kids and has good age groups!! There are tours in a ton of states, but there isn't one in NH. We will have to work on that. I love playing in a tournament setting, because it helps me practice under pressure, it helps me get used to having a lot of people watching me and it is fun to compete against other girls my own age!! US Kids Golf is a great company for kids golf!!

  Hi everyone, This post is a bit different from things I tend to talk about but it's the reality of my journey to date having played two full seasons on my high school's varsity golf team as the youngest player and as the only girl. Please take the time to read this because I am sure that there are other people with similar experiences, be it under the same circumstances or different.  I apologize for the long delay in this post. I have been busy focusing on school and golf for the past few weeks and didn't find the time that I felt this post deserved as it is a big one.  Last season (for more details about last season check out those posts) I was a freshman and things were challenging with us being remote for school and everything going on with covid. Interview with Mallory Blackwelder Trudeau!

Hi Gals, Sorry it took me a few more days than anticipated to get this up school got busy. This week's post is a super exciting one! I have an interview with Mallory Blackwelder Trudeau. Mallory grew up around the game of golf, went on to play collegiately, turn pro, play the 2015 season on the LPGA tour,  contest on The Big Break (where she ended up meeting her husband!). She is currently working as a player-manager with Fairwhay Management and taking care of her toddler Madeleine. I had the opportunity to meet Mallory at TPC Boston in 2017 during the Deutsche Bank Championship. She was there working with Danny Lee (other posts on my blog about Danny!) and I introduced myself.
