Hi everyone,

I am playing in the NHGA’s Women’s Match Play Championship this week! After the first round which is seeding, the event becomes a match play tournament which I am looking forward too! 

Match play is a unique format because it brings out that one on one competition part of golf that you don’t always get. I have only played in a handful of match play events but have been utilizing the format for years playing rounds with friends and family. Playing match play allows you to play a bit more aggressively while still not necessarily taking yourself out of it. Even though you can play aggressively making sure you make good decisions in order to out-play your opponent is very important!

The weather in NH has been beautiful the last few days, it’s finally starting to feel like summer! When do you all get out of school? I don’t get out until the 18th of June and it feels so far away.

I have been really busy, with school starting and golf! The U.S. Kids Tour! The U.S. Kids Tour is a great way to introduce kids to tournament play! The U.S. Kids Tour plays good courses for kids and has good age groups!! There are tours in a ton of states, but there isn't one in NH. We will have to work on that. I love playing in a tournament setting, because it helps me practice under pressure, it helps me get used to having a lot of people watching me and it is fun to compete against other girls my own age!! The Struggles of Being the Youngest and Only Girl on my High School Varsity Golf Team

  Hi everyone, This post is a bit different from things I tend to talk about but it's the reality of my journey to date having played two full seasons on my high school's varsity golf team as the youngest player and as the only girl. Please take the time to read this because I am sure that there are other people with similar experiences, be it under the same circumstances or different.  I apologize for the long delay in this post. I have been busy focusing on school and golf for the past few weeks and didn't find the time that I felt this post deserved as it is a big one.  Last season (for more details about last season check out those posts) I was a freshman and things were challenging with us being remote for school and everything going on with covid. Interview with Mallory Blackwelder Trudeau!

Hi Gals, Sorry it took me a few more days than anticipated to get this up school got busy. This week's post is a super exciting one! I have an interview with Mallory Blackwelder Trudeau. Mallory grew up around the game of golf, went on to play collegiately, turn pro, play the 2015 season on the LPGA tour,  contest on The Big Break (where she ended up meeting her husband!). She is currently working as a player-manager with Fairwhay Management and taking care of her toddler Madeleine. I had the opportunity to meet Mallory at TPC Boston in 2017 during the Deutsche Bank Championship. She was there working with Danny Lee (other posts on my blog about Danny!) and I introduced myself.
